Welcome to VMRS

VMRS is a voluntary and free Advanced Life Support, (ALS), service. That is - the vehicles are sponsored, as is all maintenance of them, equipment is donated and personnel are ALL volunteers and receive NO remuneration for their services whatsoever. We do not charge for our services and rely SOLELY on the kindness of the community we serve for our upkeep.

 

We aim to be the first respondent, to stabilize the patient and to call for the relevant ambulance service to send them for further medical assistance if necessary.

We work ALONGSIDE the SAPS and EMRS (KZN).
